1 Aug – We know that emergency response to critical scenarios such as road accidents, chemical spills, and fires can be a matter of life and death. That’s why training our Home Team officers to have proficient and tactical responses is crucial. With advanced simulation tools, our officers can put what they learnt to the test in a safe yet realistic environment to prepare them for real-life events.
These Extended Reality (XR) and Virtual Reality (VR) systems for simulation training and monitoring of training sessions are developed in collaboration with Singapore Civil Defence Force and the National University of Singapore (NUS) Connective Ubiquitous Technology for Embodiments (Cute) Centre.
