The third Bootcamp of Future Interaction for Smart Glasses has concluded, bringing together students from local and overseas universities for a six-day program of talks, activities, workshops, and hackathon.
Held at the Innovation 4.0, National University of Singapore from 6 – 11 January 2025, the event provided participants with opportunities to experiment with various smart glasses and develop demos and prototypes, centred around “ToM”: the Other Me platform that envisions to provide human-centred AI assistance, and Heads-Up Computing: a paradigm to provide seamless, just-in-time, and intelligent computing support for our daily activities compatible with natural human movements by using a head- and and-piece.
A total of 8 groups participated in the bootcamp, with the winning teams in:
- Best Creativity: Attention Intelligence (by JJ, Shubham, Haoming)
- Best Design: Wonder Guide (by Suhail, Lucas, Raman, Celes)
- Best Engineering: iSPY (by Jeriel Chan, Nathan Loo, Timothy, William Jacob)
- Most Engaging Presentation: Waddles (by Mou Qi Teo, Wen Ting Chua, Jie Han Lim, Sanay Shah)
